The Summer social calendar will soon be kicking off with the iconic RHS Chelsea Flower Show- an annual event held at the historic Royal Hospital Chelsea, running from the 21st to the 25th of May.
If you managed to grab some tickets this year, then you might be in need of a little outfit inspiration. Here are a few of our recommendations for event-appropriate looks.
We know, as Miranda would say “Florals for Chelsea Flower Show… groundbreaking” but in this case it really is a perfect match!
A summery, day dress is a great, easy option to nail the smart/casual dress code. Pair with a comfy trainer to get you through the day and some statement jewellery, like these Caroline Svedbom Petite Rope and Anemone styles, to add an extra touch of glamour to the look.
Chelsea Flower Show is the perfect excuse to pull out the linen pieces from summer wardrobe storage.
This set from Sand Copenhagen would be light and comfortable for a day in the sun, but still gives a crisp and sophisticated look, especially when layered with an Italian-tailored, double-breasted cream blazer.
This gorgeous set from the Sand Copenhagen SS24 collection ticks many of the dress code boxes:
Neutral / pastel colours representative of Springtime
Cheerful, floral print
Soft, comfortable material and fit
Dress the look up or down with wedges, sandals or a pair of trainers and finish off with a bag of your choice.
The Caritadea trousers from Dea Kudibal could be the perfect choice if you prefer a more tailored look.
Here the trousers have been styled with the Cassisa Blouse in Datura Cobalt, but the clean and sophisticated cream colour of the trousers will make them easy to style with whatever blouse you choose.
On a really hot day, a straw fedora and a pair of sunglasses would be the perfect accessories to help protect your face from the sun. Here we have also styled the Tusnelda dress from Dea Kudibal with a Verecruz, woven bag from Campomaggi and ‘Holly’ sandals from Kennel & Schmenger for a complete, summer-ready look.
